Kintyre tourist organization Explore Campbeltown is hosting a mini-summit next Wednesday.
The event, organised by Kate Watt, runs from 7.30pm at the Seafield hotel and one highlight will be a sneak preview of Explore Campbeltown’s updated website.
Mrs Watt said: ‘In view of the forthcoming closure of the Tourist Information Centre in Campbeltown I think it is more important than ever for local businesses, tourism bodies and service providers to work together to promote our area.
‘That is why I would like to extend an invitation, not just to existing Explore Campbeltown members, but also to anyone else involved in the tourism sector, in whatever capacity, in Campbeltown and South Kintyre to come to the meeting.’
Attendees will hear about Explore Campbeltown’s aims and plans for some exciting new events in 2018 and discuss ways of promoting Campbeltown and the surrounding areas.
Anyone unable to come on the night, but still interested in getting involved, should email Kate: firstname.lastname@example.org
