A pair of prawn creeling boats were rescued by Campbeltown lifeboat on Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
The Christmas Eve shout came, at 1.56pm, to a boat named Kena-M with a reported fouled propellor in Kilbrannan Sound. Eight lifeboat crew brought the stricken vessel alongside and subsequently towed her to Carradale harbour.
At 4.44pm on Christmas day six lifeboat crew were scrambled to Energy-C, a 9.9 metre prawn creeler, in trouble North of Arran. She was also towed to Carradale harbour.
