Santa Claus brought some Christmas cheer to a Tayinloan party.

Taking a break from his duties at the North Pole on Sunday, Santa landed his sleigh and delivered some early Christmas presents to the children in the village hall.

He asked the youngsters if they liked his suit and told them that Mrs Claus has to wash it constantly because of all his outings to different parties and events.

He remarked on how much they’d grown since he saw them last year, before giving his gifts to the enthralled children.

Earlier in the afternoon, the children enjoyed party games including Christmas corners, pass the parcel, musical Christmas trees and the bauble and spoon race, before tucking into a festive spread of party food.
