Santa Claus dropped into Castlehill primary school while he was in Campbeltown on Tuesday.

After visiting the Tiny Tots in the morning, Santa flew up to Castlehill to visit the P1 and P2 pupils.

Each child sat patiently on the floor until Santa called their name and gave them a present.

Afterwards, when the children stood with Santa to have their photograph taken many could not take their eyes off him!

The children got into the Christmas spirit early, when they held a Christmas concert last Friday – this year a traditional nativity, titled Bethleben the Donkey, performed by P1 and P2 children in front of a large audience of parents, family and friends.
