Toddlers from Campbeltown Nursery Centre helped their parents and nursery staff to sell sweet treats to help raise funds to buy tablet computers.
Everybody did their part at a coffee morning in Stronvaar Bowling Club on Saturday, manning various stalls including baking, raffle, bottle, lucky squares and guess the number of sweets in the jar and children enjoyed decorating their own biscuits.
£578.05 was raised on the day and will go towards buying the devices, to help the youngsters learn and play, and will be used to log their developmental achievements.
A nursery spokesperson: ‘We’d like to thank all the local businesses who contributed to the raffle, including Muneroy, Ardshiel, Machrihanish Golf Club, Springbank, Tesco, Argyll Bakeries, Morrisons Jewellers.’
