Kintyre Agricultural Society (KAS) is seeking entrants for its winter show at Ballygreggan Farm.
To ensure there is enough stall space for exhibits, dairy cows and horses must be entered by Sunday for the show on December 2.
The entry fee is £2 per entry which can be collected on the day of the show.
The following sections will be judged: Ayrshire section: class 1 calving heifer, class 2 calved heifer, class 3 cow in calf, class 4 cow in milk, class 5 calf exhibited by primary school pupil, class 6 calf exhibited by secondary pupil – 25 years old. Holstein section: class 7 calving heifer, class 8 calved heifer, class 9 cow in calf, class 10 cow in milk, class 11 calf exhibited by primary school pupil, class 12 calf exhibited by secondary pupil – 25 years old. Horses: class 13 colt or filly foal (Clydesdale), class 14 Clydesdale 1-year-old and over, class 15 horse male or female (small) 14.2 and under, class 16 horse male or female (large) 14.3 and over.
All calves must have been born after April 1 2017, and there must be passports to accompany all cattle at the show.
The horses will be judged at 10.15am and the dairy judging will be at 11.00am. All animals must be stalled by 10.15am.
