Campbeltown Free church has called Reverend Dr Rodger Crooks to be its new minister.

He will become the first Free church minister based in Campbeltown for 22 years. The Induction will be held on Saturday December 2 at 2.00pm.

After more than 36 years of ministry in the Presbyterian church in Ireland, Dr Crooks became a Free church minister at the start of October. He and his wife, Joan, moved recently to Campbeltown from Belfast.
