Argyll and the Isles Tourism Cooperative (AITC) will explore the heights of information provision at a mini summit on Wednesday.
Chiefs and members of Explore Campbeltown, Explore Kintyre and Gigha and AITC, will meet at the open free event, in the Ardshiel Hotel from 1pm to5pm.
There will be discussions on local and Argyll wide issues including:
- Access to good information about the area for visitors when the Visit Scotland office closes in 2019.
- Ways to work with partner organisations and businesses to help promote and market the area to a national and international audience.
- The Wild About Argyll campaign: the impact it has had in raising awareness of adventure tourism in Argyll and is there more we can do locally to be part of this?
- Taking advant age of Scotland’s Year of Coasts and Water in 2020.
