A plan which aims to improve the lives of children and young people in Argyll and Bute has been released.

The Children and Young People’s Services Plan for 2017-2020 was published in a partnership between Argyll and Bute Council and NHS Highland.

The blueprint details what the priorities are for Argyll’s children’s services, and how these services will be delivered.

Executive Director for Community Services Ann Marie Knowles, said: ‘This is a bold vision for our children and young people.

‘Over the next three years, we will together take every step to not only deliver on our priorities and meet our challenges, but build on our achievements.

‘Our young people are our foundation and we are committed to growing, safeguarding and supporting them and looking after their wellbeing.’
