Man assaulted

A man was assaulted by another man in the Feathers bar, Cross Street, Campbeltown, between 7.45pm and 10.00pm on Thursday October 5.

Police are investigating the incident and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Drugs possession

Police attended a report of a noisy party at a flat in Longrow South, Campbeltown, at about 12.40am last Saturday, and found a 16-year-old male in possession of a small amount of cannabis.

The 20-year-old female occupier of the flat was charged with allowing her flat to be used for consuming drugs and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Drugs search

At about 1.20am last Sunday on Kirk Street, Campbeltown, a 17-year-old male was stopped and searched by police and found to be in possession of a small amount of cannabis.

He was charged and issued with a recordable police warning.

Obstructing police

A 23-year-old man was arrested for abusive behaviour and obstructing police officers at about 12.45am last Sunday at the Carradale Hotel.

He was charged and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
