BLAIR – On September 23, 2017, peacefully at home, Anne Blair, née Boyd, in her 86th year, beloved wife of the late Archie Blair, much loved mother of Duncan, Richard, Archie, David, Janette, Libbie, Gordon, Keith and the late Anne, dearly loved gran of Susie, Marc, Kris, April, Jamie, Danielle, Gary, Lisa, Alasdair, Andrew, Keira, Lynsey, Kirsty, Keiran and Eva. Sadly missed by all. Funeral service was held at Tarbert Free Church, on September 28, interment thereafter at Tarbert Cemetery.
FINN – Peacefully at home, Markland, Kilkerran Road, Campbeltown, on September 26, 2017, Jamesina Hughes Finn (Shirley), in her 82nd year, dearly beloved wife of Cecil Finn, much loved mum of Tommy and Maureen, mother-in-law of Elizabeth and Andrew and loving granny of Tommy, Amy, Liam, Jack, Ross and Matthew. Service will take place in St Kieran’s RC Church, on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 11.00am, funeral thereafter to Kilkerran Cemetery. Friends please accept this intimation and invitation. GILLIES – Peacefully, at the Mid Argyll Hospital, on September 21, 2017, after an illness borne bravely, Marion (Mar) Eileen Topping Gillies, née Stewart, aged 70 years, of 2 Nursery Cottages, Ford, beloved wife of Robert Gillies, loving mum of Aileen and a dear sister, aunt and cousin to all the family. A good neighbour and dear friend to many. Funeral service will be held in Kilmartin Parish Church, today Friday, September 29, 2017 at 12.00 noon, thereafter to Achnabreac Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired, to the Macmillan Day Unit and Glenaray Ward, Mid Argyll Hospital. All friends are respectfully invited to attend.
LANG – Suddenly, on September 20, 2017, Margaret Cruikshank McCallum, in her 74th year, 3 Castleacres, Campbeltown, dearly beloved wife of Colin Lang, much loved mum of Kenneth, Stephen and Derrick, mother-in-law of Sharon, Aileen and Sara and a loving nannie.
MCSPORRAN – Suddenly but peacefully, at home, 9 Glentorran, Campbeltown, on September 23, 2017, Margaret Brodie, in her 77th year, dearly beloved wife of Donald McSporran, much loved mum of Dhonna, mother-in-law of Ian and loving granny of Stewart and Ewan. Service will take place in the Highland Parish Church, today Friday, September 29, 2017 at 1.00pm, funeral thereafter to Kilkerran Cemetery. Friends please accept this intimation and invitation. Family flowers only please. A retiral collection will be held in aid of the Acute Ward, Campbeltown Hospital.
BLACK – Annie and Sandra would like to thank relatives, friends and neighbours for their support, cards and flowers following the sad loss of Dougie, and also to thank everyone who came to the funeral to pay their respects.
