Alasdair Ferguson smashed his competitors to lift Campbeltown Lawn Tennis Club’s junior singles title for the second year in a row.

He played Fraser MacBrayne in the final with both playing very competitive semi-finals to get there.

Scott Graham, who overcame Susan Shaw, met Fraser in the semis and they played a very close match which Fraser won in a tie break 7-2.

Alasdair defeated Lauren MacKinnon and faced Millar Irwin in the other semi-final, which was another close match with Alasdair winning 7-5.

The level of tennis remained high for the final, as it went to another tie break at 6-6.

Alasdair’s determination saw him through at 7-4 to lift the trophy again.
