South Kintyre Sports Council’s fifth 5K handicap racers faced fresh winds for the season’s finale last Wednesday.
A Campbeltown Running Club spokesman said: ‘Big thanks to all our marshals, time keepers, bakers for helping out and making this possible. Also, thanks to everyone who competed this evening.
‘Conditions were tougher than May’s run, on the same course, due to the wind, but it looks like it didn’t affect times too much.
‘Details of the winners will be announced at the prize giving in November.’
