I am organizing some information events in conjunction with self management week in October.

The Third Sector Interface, in Longrow South, is assisting me in setting up these events and we are inviting local group leaders to share informaiton on what they do which can help people living with long term conditions to live their lives better, on their terms.

Self management is not a replacement for services, it does not mean managing alone.

It is a journey with the person at the centre, feeling able to take control of their life and conditions in partnership with supporters. Services have an important role in this journey.
