The boys in blue took a Strathclyde panda car to Clachan primary school in 1978. Originally police cars were painted in large patches of blue and white. These appeared black and white in programmes such as Z Cars, hence the name panda, before colour televisions were common.

Perhaps some of the children pictured round the car remember the visit? They are: in the left hand group: Rowan Simson, Jenny Griffiths, Annmarie Clark, Gillian Clark, Beatrice Catherine Clark, Shirley McLean, Robert McLachlan.

Lisa Rose Møller. Does anyone know the name of the ninth child ?

On the right are: Helen McArthur, Fraser Griffiths, Hazel Dale, Harry Morrison, Gareth Møller and Michael Morrison.
