Athletes from as young as eight years old swam and ran in Campbeltown Running Club’s first ever junior aquathlon.

The youngsters competed in different age groups for prizes, including a Campbeltown Pottery medal, commemorative tee shirt and goody bag, in an event supported by Tesco and West Coast Motors.

Eight-year-olds swam 50m ran 500m run, nine to 10s: 150m and a 1500m run, 11 to 12s: 250m and 2000m run and 13 to 16s 400m and 3000m run.
