My family were stranded at Ardrossan by CalMac last Sunday, July 23 without an explanation, it is certainly galling to say the least.
There were many others in the same predicament – its just madness given a fine day and flat calm conditions.
I know CalMac will conjure up some sort of excuse, but the unpredictability of the service is not the helping Campbeltown or indeed the company itself..
Is there a problem with the ship rather than the weather conditions? It sailed last Sunday – July 16 – a blistering hot day when even the ancient Waverley arrived without a problem, but not without a mention from the CalMac crew that the ferry may not be able to dock. Thankfully it did berth.
What is the problem with this ferry as everything else seems to be unaffected?
