The Mach 1 Rally is ready to roll.

Motorsport fans, who headed to the ferry terminal this evening, heard the Kintyre competitors revving their cars for the weekend’s Mach Rally.

Rhuaridh Wilson, 4, and Caiden Andrew, 5, (centre) with rally driver George Fell from Glenbarr are all revved up to see this weekend’s Mach 1 Airbase action.

Spectator entry is just £5 for the two day competition. Neil McAllister and Stephen Lang (left) in the Campbeltown Motor Company sponsored Peugeot 205 will drive to finish.

Driver John Kean and co-driver Malcolm MacDonald have competed in every round this year and are looking for a good result in Kintyre.

The racing starts at 11am.
