This weekend my walk was ruined by a motor bike, which appeared unregistered and was without a licence plate, whizzing up and down and around on Westport beach.

I called the police who only attended the car park.

The rider was supported by people in two cars, who left when the police arrived.

When I filmed the biker he turned into the dunes and disappeared. Probably to Machrihanish as I saw tracks there later in the day.

I have a video of the biker and pictures of the tracks in the sand. I didn’t dare let the dog off the lead.

It is a disgrace and something needs to be done about it. I could not believe this would happen, and on a Sunday.
