MACAULAY / WILSON Peacefully at Beinnlee, Campbeltown, on July 4, 2017, surrounded by her family, Rhona Catherine MacAulay, aged 38 years, much loved and loving wife of Mick Wilson, devoted mummy of Finlay, beloved elder daughter of Calum and Catherine Anne and a wonderful sister of Aileen. MCKINLAY – Peacefully at her home, 2 Letterdaill, Cairnbaan on June 29, 2017, Morag McKinlay, nee McLean, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Thomas McKinlay, and much loved and loving mother of Diana and Isabel, much respected mother in law of Allan. Cherished granny of Morven and John, and Ian and Carol, great gran of Arran, Kyra, Darcey and Alexander. A dear sister, sister in law, aunt and cousin and a good neighbour and dear friend to many. Funeral service was held in Glassary Parish Church, Kilmichael on Thursday July 6, 2017, followed by interment at Achnabreac Cemetery. Sadly missed.
MORANS – On June 29, 2017, suddenly but peacefully at Lorn and Islands Hospital Oban, Catherine (Katie) Morans, in her 85th year, beloved daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Morans, much loved sister of Rose and the late Margaret, John, Archibald and Edward, a dearly loved aunt and great aunt of all the family, a greatly loved and respected dear friend of many. Funeral service was held at Tarbert Free Church on July 6, interment thereafter at Carrick Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Tarbert Free Church.
RUSSELL – Suddenly at her home, on June 30, 2017, Catherine (Cathy) Gilchrist Russell, nee Johnstone, in her 74th year, of 10 Sinclair Drive, Lochgilphead. Beloved wife of Billy Russell, much loved and loving mother of Lindsay, Rodney and Neil and a dearly loved Granny Kaki. Much respected mother in law, dear sister, aunt and cousin to all the family. Funeral service will be held at Lochgilphead Parish Church, on Wednesday July 12, 2017, at 11am, thereafter to Achnabreac Cemetery. All friends are respectfully invited to attend.
CARROLL – The family of the late Willie Carroll, would like to thank everyone for the many various kind expressions of sympathy received in their recent sad loss. Special thanks to all doctors and nursing staff at Inveraray, Mid Argyll Hospital and R.A.H. Paisley for all the kind care and attention received.
