Charged over alleged drugs and car tax offences
A 26-year-old man was charged after a car was stopped and searched at about 5.45pm on Tuesday June 6, on the A83 in Campbeltown.
He was allegedly found to be in possession of cannabis and the vehicle did not have any excise licence.
Fighting and theft
Police have identified two men who were fighting in Main Street, Campbeltown, at about 12.30pm on Friday June 9, and once traced, the two men, aged 27 and 47, will be charged.
One of the men also allegedly stole an item from the other.
A house in the town was searched by police at about 8.30pm last Friday and a small quantity of cannabis was found. The 27-year-old male occupant of the property was not present but will be charged.
A red Peugeot 207 car was damaged in Tesco car park, Campbeltown, between 10.30am and 11am, on Monday June 12, when its rear bumper was struck by a silver car which allegedly failed to stop.
The door to a flat in Burnbank Street, Campbeltown, was damaged between 6.20am and 9.45pm last Friday. The door was forced open but nothing was stolen from the flat.
Between noon and 7pm last Saturday, the paintwork on a black Audi Q5 car was scratched at Millknowe, Campbeltown.
