Members of Bellochantuy SWI were sorry to hear of the death of Jean Teesdale.
Jean joined the institute when she came to live in the area 17 years ago.
She was an enthusiastic competitor, winning many prizes, especially in needlework of all kinds, and willing to demonstrate her skills. Her baking was also awarded stars.
She enjoyed meeting people and getting to know them.
Ill health prevented Jean from attending last season, but she maintained an interest, and will be missed.
