Last week in Down Memory Lane the Courier printed a photo which has been identified as a 1979 Largieside football team based at Tayinloan Park.

The players, who were all born within five miles of Tayinloan, were identified by John Park. He was the third youngest in the team but the eldest of the three Park lads. From back left were: Gerry Nugent, Duncan Johnstone aka Big Stone, Willy Park, John Rennie, Davie Ronald, Stuart Smith, Robert Currie, John Park and Paul Brown.

From left front were: Campbell MacDonald, Attie Millar, Andy Rennie, Davy Park, Iain Mitchell and Murdo Thomson.

This week’s picture is a school class but who are the pupils and when was the picture taken? c21class01no
