Athletes racing round Gigha topped up their energy reserves with a pint of the island’s milk.
Every finisher at this year’s Challenge was given a bottle of Wee Isle Dairy milk in addition to plates and medals from Campbeltown Pottery.
A spokesperson for the recent event said: ‘We want to say a big thank you to Don and Emma Dennis, all the home bakers and, as ever, Ardminish Stores for their continued support for this fun event.
‘We hope to hold this event again next year on the May Day bank holiday weekend.’

Eleven-mile walk: 1 Ross Nicol, 2 Rhod Nicol, 3 Keith McVeigh, 5K walk: Joint 1 Ruby Beagan and Bailey Bannatynne, 2 Christine Mineham.
