Piper Alasdair Currie,from Ballachlaven Farm,Ballygrant,Isle,Islay won the Col Murdoch MacTaggart,Bowmore,Memorial Trophy for playing of Strathspey and Reel at the Royal National Mod 2012 at Dunoon on Friday October 12 2012.
Alasdair said he was ‘very pleased to have won and delighted to be taking an Islay trophy back to the island’.
