Deadline looms for Mull of Kintyre bike event

TIME is running out to sign up for the first Mull of Kintyre bike event.

Tomorrow (Saturday) is the deadline for an early bird entry discount, any letters postmarked before, but received after, will still qualify for this.

The last cut off date for all entries is October 9,and all entries include a buffet meal at the Ardshiel Hotel, with numbers required in advance.

Organisers have had a good response so far and are sure the event, which takes place on October 16,will be well supported.

The event is now part of the Argyll and Bute 14:10 Games for Scotland Challenge. This is part of the build up of the Commonwealth Games taking place in Glasgow in 2014.

Organisers hope this will help to raise the publicity of the event for future years, and attract even more people to the area.

The event also has its new website up and running,www.mokbike.com,where entry forms and more information on the day can be found at
