AFTER working at Campbeltown Hospital for nearly 20 years Elsie Campbell is retiring from her post as a personal assistant for the hospital management team.
This is so she can spend more time with her grand children.
Elsie began working at the hospital in 1989 as a personal assistant and has now progressed on to a personal assistant for the hospital management keeping her busy and on her toes.
Her fellow colleagues were full of praise for Elsie at her retirement party in the Bengullion Ward where she was presented with gifts after a short speech from Donnie Cameron.
She will be sorely missed by everyone at the hospital, and everyone wishes her all the best for her retirement, said Mr Cameron.
Elsie said: I would like to thank everybody for the lovely presents, it is much appreciated.
And she added: I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working here.
