The discos are run by the Joint Health Improvement Partnership which received funding for four dances of which this was the fourth and last one.

To date the events have attracted a number of DJs including DJ Mancini, Bigg Taj and BA, Violent echo and the Lemmings.

Kintyre Youth Enquiry Service led the project management of all the dances and were also involved in training the local DJ’s as well as the behind the scenes work like tickets, stewarding and promoting the event.
