WORLD class piper Willie McCallum from Campbeltown has added another Donald MacLeod Memorial to his tally.
One of the most prestigious competitions on the piping circuit, this is his seventh win out of 15 appearances.
Willie McCallum won the Donald MacLeod Memorial competition which was held in the Caladh Inn, Stornoway.
There was a strong representation from overseas in the competition from as far away as Canada and New Zealand, as well as the usual competitors on the piping scene.
The evening was rounded off by a traditional ceilidh, the highlight of which has been in recent years all the pipers playing together, or at least most of them, under the direction of the winner on the day, in this case Willie McCallum.
