CAMPBELTOWN’S Accent Players were second for the second year running in the Lorn Drama Festival which was held in Oban last week.
The festival ran from Tuesday to Friday last week, and was won by Dalmally and Lochawe Drama Society with the play A Talk in the Park and the overall standard was deemed extremely high by the adjudicator, Ronnie Mackie. Accent performed Failed Investments, by Lynn Britney, produced by Kenny Johnson, and starred Maureen Johnson, Catrona Lang, Martha Rennie, Elise Glendinning and William Crossan.
