IT IS now nearly a year since Campbeltown Young Farmers Club got back up and running thanks to the dedication of its committee members.
All are welcome to join them where they will be discussing the events over the past year as well as announcing new committee members and any changes in positions.
Campbeltown Young Farmers kicked off their new season last year with their Car Treasure Hunt which started at the ferry terminal with a good amount of members turning out.
Throughout the year, the club strengthened connections with Mid Argyll Young Farmers and were seen at the Kintyre Show, to raise money for the club.
As well as the fun and games involved there was also a more educational side in terms of farming practice.
Campbeltown held a cattle dressing at Dippen Farm, Carradale and were joined by Mid Argyll Young Farmers for this.
Duncan Semple showed the young farmers the different aspects of dressing cattle for a show.
They also attended and took part at various stock judging competitions.
They concluded their year with a joint night with Mid Argyll at the Hunting Lodge to celebrate Campbeltown Young Farmers first anniversary with over 90 young farmers from Kintyre and Mid Argyll gathering there for what proved to be an excellent night.
