A HEALTHY contingent of pipers and chanter players from Campbeltown, accompanied by tutor John Brown, made the short journey to Lochgilphead at the weekend to take part in the Mid Argyll Music Festival.
Judges were Kate Paton from Strachur and Robert Stewart from Inveraray.
All three trophies for juvenile piping have been brought home to Campbeltown.
Results as follows: Chanter: 1 Donnie McKerral, 2 Matthew Tanner, 3 Neil McFadyen; Novice March: 1 Craig Barbour, 2 Bruce Cowie, 3 Campbell McFadyen; Senior March Strathspey & Reel: 1 Fiona Mitchell, 2 Ewan MacNab, 3 Keith Cowie.
