KINTYRE Agricultural Society held their annual ploughing match on Saturday, 9.

It was held at Machrihanish farm and a good entry number of 13 tractors took to the field.

Results as follows: Class 1 (10 – 12 inch): 1 Andrew Gibb, Hamilton Brothers. Extra Prizes: Best break: Andrew Gibb, Hamilton Brothers; Straightest: Andrew Gibb, Hamilton Brothers; Best first 6 furrows: Andrew Gibb, Hamilton Brothers; Best last 6 furrows: Andrew Gibb, Hamilton Brothers; Best Ins and Outs: Andrew Gibb, Hamilton Brothers; Best Finish: Andrew Gibb, Hamilton Brothers.
