Down Memory Lane

Margaret Lawson from Glebe Street, Campbeltown, brought this wonderful photograph from the First World War into The Courier Office this week.
It shows her granny, Flora Mitchell, on the far left along with three of her friends; Flora was the much-loved granny to the McSporran Family of Glenside, Campbeltown. Mrs Lawson hopes that someone else in the town might know who the other three girls are and the story behind the photo. It is her belief that the four were all involved in war work of some kind.
