LEAGUE champions Whisky Macs rounded off their Campbeltown and District League season with a comfortable win over bottom-dogs Davaar on Sunday.
A slightly disjointed first half performance from Whiskys was still enough to take a one goal lead with a goal ghosted by player-manager Henry Sillars in the back post.
The champions stepped up a gear in the second half to take complete control of the game and they went on to create a succession of chances.
Only some inspired goalkeeping from Davaar’s Coffield kept the scoreline down as Whiskys added three further strikes after the break to complete a 4-0 win on the day they celebrated receiving the impressive league trophy.
Raymond Rutherford, James Collette and Neily Brodie all went on to help Whiskys sail through to another victory.
The two sides meet again this Sunday on cup duty with a 2pm kick off at Kinloch Green.
Whisky Macs thanks Craig Dixon for supporting and funding throughout the season.
