TOMORROW (Wednesday) Kintyre trio The Twisted Melons play Whisky Macs fresh from their Ugadale Hotel gig earlier in the month. They had to cancel a London gig planned for last Saturday.

Whisky Macs is open till 2am on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and Hogmanay but shut on Christmas Day.

On Monday, December 28 there is a quiz night, with Jamie G. Adam Fortune taking to the stage on Tuesday, December 29.

Soprano and pianist perform at Lorne and Lowland

KINTYRE Music Club will reverberate to the sound of opera and musicals when a talented pianist and vocalist visit.

Soprano Aimee Toshney accompanied by pianist Ewan Gifford will entertain at the Lorne and lowland Church Hall on Friday December 4 at 7.30pm.
