A BAKING enthusiast from Campbeltown has come out top in a national competition.
Fiona McArthur,who has developed her reputation for her cake designs over the last year in Campbeltown,produced something a bit different for the Bake it Yourself (BIY) Facebook campaign.
The criteria was for the bakers to make a cake to celebrate the BIY page reaching 100,000 likes,to then upload a photo and recipe to win a place at a Neff cookery school and goodie bag.
The 25-year-old’s design was one of 10 that were shortlisted and she was asked to then get the cake to Milton Keynes,in one piece – a challenge in itself.
