NEW donors are urgently needed to give blood when the mobile donating team visit at the end of this month.
The Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service is encouraging those who give regularly and also new donors who would like to give for the first time to the clinic on October 25.
The team will be at the Victoria Hall,Campbeltown from 2.30pm to 3.45pm and 5.15pm to 7.30pm.
‘We urgently need to attract new and returning blood donors,’ said a spokeswoman for the service.
‘Only five per cent of the eligible population currently give blood. Every day we need to welcome 1,000 blood donors in Scotland.’
