A 54-YEAR-old local man has died after an incident outside a takeaway in Campbeltown.
Police have not confirmed the identity of the man,who was transferred to Southern General Hospital in Glasgow with serious head injuries following the incident at 1.30am on Saturday,October 13 2012.
The man has been named locally as David McNaughton.
‘This death is not being treated as suspicious,’ said Inspector Tom Harper of Campbeltown Police.
‘We are still appealing for witnesses and are keen to speak to anyone who was in the Longrow area of Campbeltown at the time of the incident.
‘Our thought are with the man’s family and friends at this time.’
