Flash floods hit Clachan

The A83 was closed for a short time on Wednesday,August 30 2012  at Clachan in Kintyre after a thunder storm produced torrential rain over a short period in the afternoon.

Flash flooding caused Clachan Burn to burst its banks flooding on to the road and into cottages backing the burn,with footbridges washed away.
