A MULTI-million pound upgrade to Campbeltown’s New Quay is on schedule to be complete by mid October.
BAM Nuttall,the Dutch-owned engineering firm awarded the project by Argyll and Bute Council,are progressing well with the work to deepen the harbour to allow larger vessels to berth.
Once the £4.6million upgrade is complete,vessels large enough to carry six-metre diameter wind turbine towers will be able to use the New Quay.
