AS WELL as rubbing shoulders with famous composers,Carradale’s Lorne MacDougall has seen his profile boosted across the world.
The well-known piper has been a major part of the soundtrack for Disney Pixar’s newest movie Brave which has just been released.
Lorne exclusively told The Courier this week how proud he was to be part of the film and how surreal the publicity has been.
‘I’m getting complete strangers adding me on Facebook and following me on Twitter after seeing my name in credits,’ explained Lorne. ‘I’m not complaining though,it’s been pretty surreal.
The 28-year-old recently attended a talk in London put on by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts with composer Murray Gold. Murray has composed music for various TV programmes including Doctor Who and Shameless.
