OLD-FASHIONED glamour was in the air as a garden party marked the opening of the new sensory garden at Auchinlee Care Home on Saturday,July 22 2012.
Resident Helen Watson cut the ribbon to allow access to the garden for the crowd, which included many people who have had associations with Auchinlee over the years.
Former staff had come from as far as Oban to the Campbeltown care home, which since the beginning of June has provided a specialised dementia service.
The garden’s opening is part of Auchinlee’s 60th anniversary celebrations, for which a cake was made for the occasion.
