A diver remains missing despite Campbeltown lifeboat searching till the early hours of the morning after it was called out on Monday July 23 2012.
The alarm was raised just before 4pm after the diver failed to return to the boat;the search was called off on Tuesday morning.
The dive boat was about 10 miles north of Corsewall Point on the coast of Dumfries and Galloway.
Clyde Coastguard said Girvan lifeboat,Campbeltown lifeboat and rescue helicopter 177 from HMS Gannet at Prestwick had all been taking part in the search.
Fishing vessels in the area had also given their assistance.
