DISGRUNTLED former staff of the Campbeltown branch of a national alcohol retailer say they are owed hundred of pounds in unpaid wages. The claims against alcohol retailer Winehouse came as its branch on Campbeltown’s Main Street remained close this week, despite an announced ‘relaunch’,with the company moving into new ownership. One of the employees,Pauline Baines, said she was owed more than £700 for work from the start of May until she left on June 6 to start a different job. Another member of staff, who did not wish to be named, said she was due more than £1,200 from the company. See Friday’s Courier for the full story.
