CANNABIS plants valued at over £5,000 were recovered from a Campbeltown flat last week.
Police had been called to the address in the High Street area last Friday night regarding another matter,when the smell of the growing plants attracted their attention.
A man in his fifties was arrested for alleged cultivation with intent to supply the class B drug,and a report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
