A former pupil was guest of honour as Campbeltown Grammar School held its end-of-year prize giving.
Jamie MacIvor,now BBC Scotland’s local government correspondent,was on hand to present prizes and make a speech on Tuesday night.
As well as academic achievement,pupils were recognised in other areas including attendance,volunteering and sport,with the dux prize going to Morbhein McAllister.
Musical items were performed including the piping in of the platform party by Graeme McConnachie,Kintyre Schools Junior Band conducted by Katy Welch,CGS Singers,piper Calum Cowie,the brass quartet and the sixth year ensemble.
