CAMPBELTOWN Young Firefighters has received a prestigious award,scooping £1,000.
The unit were voted Organisation of the Year at the Argyll and Bute Volunteer Awards last Friday.
They were up against various organisations from across the area including Tarbert Soup Group.
Group commander,Stuart McLean of Strathclyde Fire and Rescue congratulated Paul Souden and Jim Parr,as well as the cadets on the achievement.
