
A TWENTY-TWO strong team from Kintyre Amateur Swimming Club travelled to Helensburgh last weekend to compete in the annual Argyll &Bute Swimming Championships.
Swimmers from Dunoon ASC,Oban Otters ASC,Islay &Jura Dolphins ASC,Helensburgh ASC and Kintyre ASC competed in the two-day competition.
Many medals were won by the local team and personal bests set,with Kintyre once again voted as having the loudest cheers.
The club is looking to organise an open 800-metre event sometime in October and on Sunday November 13 the club holds its annual club championships in Aqualibrium.
