Oban’s 2024 Fiddlers’ Rally reel’ed’ in a big audience at the weekend.
Nearly 50 musicians, including those on the accordion, double bass and piano, went on stage at the Argyllshire Gathering hall on Saturday in front of an appreciative audience, including tourists, some from as far away as America.
Helen Jordan from Oban & Lorne Strathspey & Reel Society said numbers of performers are building back up after Covid and to reach almost 50 performers on stage at the rally event was "thrilling".
"We also had a wonderful audience of about 120 people, who gave us a lovely warm reception and really enjoyed themselves," she added.
Special guests also up on the stage included Elizabeth and Alan Jack from Mull and Sarah Garvin from Oban, as well as Oban High School piper Lily Roberts.
The date for next year’s event is Saturday April 26.
